I recently had a great stay at a hotel in the Dayton South area. The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were updated and clean, with comfortable beds and all the basic amenities I needed. I also appreciated the hotel's attention to detail, with non-smoking rooms and a well-maintained pool area. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the nearby mall and a variety of restaurants. Another highlight was the delicious breakfast offered each morning.
Everything was ok during my stay.

This was our second stay, at Wyndham, in a week. On this stay, there wasn't much I liked at all.
They were having a large event for VFWO right next to the pool (with lots of alcohol), so I certainly wasn't taking my 2 yr old down to swim with drunks; the bathroom door couldn't open w/o scratching the front if the toilet; there was HAIR in our bed before the sheets had NOT been changed veggie our stay; there was a gap between the headboard and mattress where an electrical plug was that had NO cover and exposed wires; kids or drunks running the halls until after 1am; fire alarm was triggered at 7am because of ppl smoking in their rooms.

Easy access to Interstate.
First impressions are important and mine was not good. The man at the front desk was downright rude. I was asked to provide a credit card I said I paid online and was informed that only "held" the room. Then when I was asked to sign and initial the daily rate which was blank, I simply asked what the rate was to assure I was getting the rate I booked at and was told he didn't know the online booking service doesn't tell them. So which is it I thought. When I asked what the card would be needed for if the room was already paid for he snapped back, "for incidentals". Also, the first room I was a/c didn't work. Halls were smoke filled even though supposed to be smoke free. Not a good experience.

During our Christmas stay, we were pleased with the amenities offered like the clean and spacious room and the friendly staff. Plus, the location was perfect as it was near popular shops and restaurants. The hotel also had a great breakfast selection to start our day right.
The noise level from other guests was a bit bothersome at times and made it difficult to sleep. some areas of the hotel looked like they could use a little updating.

Large room, nice work area (desk), medium speed wireless internet access. Room $50/night via Booked.net - most other rates $75-85/night. Hotel seemed to have very low occupancy.
No guide to nearby restaurants.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering all the amenities they offer. The attention to detail was also impressive - the rooms were clean and updated, making for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and provided great service, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The basic amenities like free Wi-Fi and a business area with computers were a nice bonus. Additionally, the location was convenient, as there were plenty of dining options nearby and it was easy to access the main highway.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was more than satisfactory.

Nice and clean room with comfortable bedding and plenty of pillows. Great location with a range of restaurants in the surrounding area for dining options. got the benefit of having a pool to relax in after a long day walking around the city.
The lobby seemed old and rundown with outdated furniture and fixtures. the staff didn't seem overly friendly, but they did help us with our queries.
